Whew!! Made it by the seat of my pants!

Okay, so I have been on vacation and just got home yesterday morning at 2am.  So, that means no crafting for the past 10 days....but, I've made up for my crafting sabbatical since I got home.

Yesterday I made 13(!) ATCs (that's Artist Trading Cards for those of you not familiar with ATCs) for a swap that I'm involved in and just five (yes 5!) minutes ago I decided to enter a card in the Fresh Squeezed Stamps Squeeze-A-Palooza card challenge #8.  You might be thinking "What's the big deal about entering a card in the Squeeze-A-Palooza card challenge?"  Well, since you asked.....

The challenge closes in a little over 4 hours so I am definitely making it "by the seat of my pants"....capri pants of course, it is almost summer!  And speaking of summer (how convenient), the theme for the FSS Squeeze-A-Palooza challenge is "SUMMER".

I am also entering the card in the Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge #82 and the Twist of Faith Clean and Simple (CAS) Challenge #39.

Alrighty - here is the card:

Supplies used:

Fresh Squeezed Stamps - Happy Hexagon stamp set
Sentiment - Kraftin' Kimmie "Little Orphan Annie" stamp set
Cardstock - Bazzill Basics (my fave)
Flower stem - Stampin' Up "Send Me Soaring" stamp set
button and twine - my stash

  4. This is just SO darling! I love the soft yellow. The flower reminds me of my childhood when we used to pull off the petals one at a time and say, "he loves me, he loves me not"....remember that? Thanks for sharing this adorable card in our challenge this week. Your participation is always SUCH a blessing to me, Donna. God bless you as you create!

    1. Cath, As you can see (since I haven't blogged since the end of May), I've had a busy summer. I'm looking forward to a "slower" autumn with lots of crafting....and blogging!
